AdP Internacional participated in the 10th World Water Forum in Bali
AdP Internacional was present at
the debate "Lessons Learned on Drinking Water Services from Portugal"
at the 10th World Water Forum in Bali on May 23. The invitation was extended by
the Indonesian Minister of Public Works, Basuki Hadimuljono, following his
visit to Portugal, where he learned about the work done by the Įguas de
Portugal group over the past 30 years.
Currently, Indonesia faces
challenges similar to those Portugal encountered three decades ago, with
insufficient sanitation and water supply services. Minister Basuki highlighted
the need for institutional reforms to achieve the "Indonesia Golden 2045"
goal, emphasizing the importance of a joint effort to improve the country's
water infrastructure.
AdP Internacional's participation
in the forum allowed for the sharing of experiences and successful strategies,
contributing to Indonesia's progress in the water sector. This collaboration
demonstrates the value of international partnerships in promoting sustainable
development.
